Paul is a graduate of the University of Auckland School of Medicine. He travelled and then worked as a General Practitioner for six years before he commenced his training in anatomical pathology. Paul was trained in the Auckland City Hospital system and gained his fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2000. He has a special interest in fine needle aspirations and in dermatopathology.
