Dr Sadiq Al-Sakini

Special Practice Responsibilities
Sadiq is a graduate of the University of Baghdad, College of
Medicine, where he obtained a Masters degree in Pathology. He
immigrated to New Zealand in 1996 and initially worked as a
Pathologist's assistant for Diagnostic Medlab whilst preparing to
sit the New Zealand Medical Council registration exams. Sadiq was
Senior House Officer at Mercy Hospital then Auckland City Hospital
before joining the RCPA Anatomical Pathology Training Program. The
rotation included time at Middlemore Hospital, North Shore Hospital
and LabPlus, Auckland City Hospital. During Sadiq's specialist
training he spent eight months as a Cytology Trainee with
Diagnostic Medlab before taking up his current position in 2007.
Sadiq is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of
Australasia.
